I returned to Oso De Oro Park in Fresno, California to film geese, ducks, and gulls doing their lighthearted shuffles. A Baroque March framed the landscape.
These birds produced quite a show.
Back story: The gates to the lake area were closed, so I was under a considerable handicap in catching the scenes I wanted. From 55 minutes of footage that had the birds standing on their heads with my camera gyrating in and out of bars— and the zoom button hit too often at the wrong time, I still managed to eek out some worthwhile images that my daughter, Aviva cleverly inserted at the right musical moments.
Basically, the birds stole the spotlight while I had the privilege of accompanying them at my Steinway grand piano.
